I'm interested in what Dominos location this was?

If it was the Dominos on General Meyer, I delivered pizzas for them back in 2004-2005..mainly during break at LSU and a couple weekends here and there.

I never put a car topper on, nor did I wear the uniform. Couple of occasions I didn't feel so well about the area I was in.

A lot of guys from the Naval Center down the road worked there part time as well.

It had to be. I don't know of any others in that area.

Good chance it is. Haven't been back there in 10+ years.

It has to be. It's still there on General Meyer and there isn't one on Degaulle.

I know a high school history teacher at a public school in the city that told me they are forced by the higher ups to "pass" a specific number of kids each year to keep state funding. They have summer school for a number of kids so they can give them passing grades just for attending. A third of the schools senior class couldn't read at a 5th grade level or understand basic multiplication.

This makes me take the "improvements" people like to tout about NOLA schools with a grain of salt. I'd imagine the charters and publics may be more adept at gaming the system than they were pre-Katrina. I have a hard time believing the same population is somehow behaving in classrooms and taking school work seriously all of a sudden.

Charter schools are having enough trouble even staying open these days, of course they are playing the system

It's a cycle that there is no real solution to on a local level. The city pretty much has to pray that the undesirables are pushed into the East and the rest of the city is gentrified.

It was, they showed the location on WWL news and interviewed some of the employees.

Also this wasn't a robbery, the shooters never asked for or attempted to get money. They pulled up as he was walking back to his car, shot him multiple times from inside their vehicle and sped off. The victim was training a new driver who was sitting in the passenger seat and witnessed everything.

Williams said he is baffled why someone would target his nephew and wonders if there were enemies or problems he knew nothing about.

“They way it happened was hard to believe, because it seemed like it wasn’t a robbery,” Williams said.
