One of the great things about America.
As a business owner You can choose what business you want and what you don't want.

Makes sense. I remember they wouldn't go into certain areas of Minneapolis when I was younger for those same reasons. Can't subject your workers to high probability of danger.

Criminality. what causes and sustains it
Criminality is not a racial thing, it's an economic thing.
Lack of education and job traing sustain it.

yea, unless it looks racist, then you can't

I am ready for this to somehow be racists. Denying their right to shitty pizza.
Posted on 3/26/15 at 12:44 pm to BeeFense5
I don't think it's racist. If you abuse the privilege of having pizza delivered, than you don't get that privilege anymore.

They" = People who live in the infected area of ninth ward.
"They" - generally good boys and girls and also generally on the way to college.

I already said the crime was despicable. There are 3 fatherless children now and it's a damn shame.
But what does denying a service to thousands of willfully paying people do because a freak accident solve?
So are they only going to serve uptown and the Carrollton area? I don't really see how this solves much because getting them away from liability suits

Those people can still come to the store and pick up pizzas.

Make up your mind, brah - was it a despicable crime or a freak accident?
A freak accident would be the car got hit by lightning, caused a crash into a canal and the driver drowned - obviously a known risk from operating a delivery service, but a statistically insignificant one.
Without stats, I suspect that drivers are robbed or accosted down there all the time (as they are in most places) - and Domino's has decided this particular area is not worth risking its drivers.
FTR - I used to deliver pizzas in Baton Rouge, between Chippewa and State St. It was sketchy then, but I was never robbed or threatened.
However, I strongly believe that it was only a matter of time (and that was 25 years ago) - my car didn't hold up to the work and I quit that job and got a better one.
