Well it's true. Amazing how bad they were at yielding.

You would understand if you had witnessed this. Cars on a 4 lane road in the interior lane who had plenty of room to yield either slowing down and staying in the lane or just flat out not paying attention.

Whats even better is when they just come to a complete stop in the middle of the lane in front of you.

Have y'all had a chance to shoot any crack heads?

This almost happened. Driver just panicked instead of calmly pulling over.

Being a cop is dangerous. I watch YouTube videos of traffic stops and you never know when you may get that crazy fricker that kills you. I would tell people one time what to do and if they argued I would taze that arse.

Can I get some cliffs on this so far? How many donuts and K9's have been slayed?
Posted on 4/4/14 at 10:59 pm to okietiger
You would have a cop friend

Pretty solid thread. Disappointed it took so long for someone to post the OKC police scanner.

We're on the call they've been chattering about.
Some guy is hurt but we're not for sure of the cause yet.

Pull over any Mexicans and take their cash?
Any hot women pulled over? favors?
Free Coffee?
Sit up front and taunt the bad guy in the back?
Push the siren buttons?
Talk on the radio in cool CB talk?
Order a big meal then bolt like yall had a call?
So much to do in one nite and not enough time

Willing to bet that 4 hours of this shift will be spent taking a "safety nap"

Have your friend give the next one being transported a screen test. Those are hilarious if they're drunk.

I hope you come back to this thread in a few days after you reflect back on everything you did and tell us how your perspective has changed on cops.
Fair enough. Cops spent an enormous amount of time dealing with the dregs of humanity. That's one hell of a job and I'm glad someone does it so I don't have to deal with it.
My guess is that it's natural for someone who does this for a living to treat everyone like a potential thug. Obviously I don't appreciate that part but I guess it is a natural consequence of the job.
