Apparently our dog is barking a lot when we are not home. I would correct the behavior but she never barks when one of us is home, only when we are gone.

The neighbors have been nice about it while we try different things but I don't want to be a dick neighbor.

Any recs would be appreciated and please let me know what has worked or failed for you. Thanks!

There's a hundred different ones and I've never used one. Hence the thread.

Get a house and move out of your shitty apartment. Your dog doesn't thank you for living in a shitty place without a backyard.

Exercise. Exercise. And more exercise.

Wear her out.

This will correct most bad behaviors. She has built up energy.

If you aren't able to exercise her, try this:

I bought this same one for all my annoying arse neighbors' dogs. Amazon Prime at their doorstep. They get the hint.

I can't stand jerking off when barks are going on around me. Kills my confidence.

Leave tv on.

That's what we do.

It's the subtle noise that distracts our dog or at the least provides the same atmosphere as when we're home.
