The crushed granite front yard gives it a one up.

Trashy for a house. Not trashy for a shipping container or trailer home.

How fricked would you be in one of these during a tornado or hurricane?

For a camp? Cool, except for the color.

For a home, it cheap looking. The natural colored treated lumber railing on the deck with bright galvanized hardware screams cheap. The color is horrible. The small window on the left looks like they installed it turned 90 from correct.

Or fishing camp... Prob could buy a lot and set two of these on there with a screened in porch in the middle attaching the two (1 bunk room and 1 living room). Wouldn't even need to insure the property. Just build them basic with window units and maybe solar power to run the window units.

if it weren't for women, I could do this no problem. I sorta like the idea, really.

Why do they need 4 rocking chairs? You can't possibly have more than 2 people living there, and the type of people that live in a shipping container don't have company over.

not my favorite from link, but it's ok. if i had enough land i'd think about a shipping container structure for a guest house or something. would be fun for people to stay over, or just airbnb it out on game weekends....assuming it was substantially cheaper than a traditionally built structure of similar dimensions.
