How much are the containers bought for?

What the hell are these people thinking with the prices? You can a decent mobile home for $30k, and that's on wheels. Same with the tiny homes, I don't understand the prices?

I've seen 2-3 room prefab 'cabins' for $30-40k. The prices these millennial ideas have are absurd, they either suck at business or price gouge like crazy.

"For a used 20-footer in good condition, the cost can range anywhere from $1,400 to $2,800. A 40 foot shipping container will cost $3,500 to $4,500".

So the post above answered my question, lol at their build out price. You can likely get them delivered for like $2500. If you have a salaried team or workers, you could likely build them out for $15k or 20k? So these idiots are trying to work on like a 50% profit margin? Geez.

$300 sq ft. Lol

Just stick frame and sheet it with 1/4 steel. The time it takes to cut those fricking windows and doors you can build 3 stick frame houses the same size

That is insane. You can buy one for about 3500 dollars then customize it how you want.

I like em...if me and the ole lady ever got divorced...I would get one in a heart beat....maybe 2 of em...side by side like cabins...so my teenage boys could have one to kick it in....or for guests.
