Don Carters and 2010 in BR for me.

RL Safari, Eternity, and Fahrenheit(I still wear this) are good ones that bring me back.

1. shouldn't it be smelling a certain perfume bring back memories of old girlfriends?

2. interestingly, our olfactory center of our brain is linked closely to our limbic system (I think), thus a particular smell can directly trigger an emotion associated with that smell.

For me the smell of formaldehyde still throws me back to first year medical school and I could instantly recalled the stress and weariness of gross anatomy.

I have an odd one.
Curve reminds me of Playing the first Resident Evil on Playstation 1 while drinking a 40oz of malt liquor before going out to Triple A.

Just ask a few females what they like and why. It's that simple.

smell is directly related to the part of your brain associated with memories

Olfaction is deeply tied to both the hippocampus (memory/associations) and the amygdala (emotional center). The emotional content in situations strengthens memory formation and encoding, which makes them easier to recollect in the future. Pretty cool stuff.
