Does smelling your old colognes bring back good memories...?

Found a few of my old colognes from the 80's, opened them and took a whiff, and it brought be back to some great times....
Specifically, Paul Sebastion, Georgio, Drakkar, Kouros and Gucci... Brought back old girlfriend times as well...

I had a short, but hot fling in college with a woman who wore a very unique smelling of perfume. I never smelled it on any other woman before or after her. Fast forward ten years later, my wife walks out of the house wearing some of her new perfume. The same perfume my old piece wore. Felt like I was cheating on my wife the entire night. When it came time for a refill, I was quick to buy her something different.

I remember my GF in high school wore "Lady Stetson". I've not smelled that scent in decades but I'm pretty sure if someone held a bottle of it under my nose today I'd pop a boner.
