I honestly can't think of any other time besides these that I tuck my shirt in. Good list.

I have to buy oversize shirts to fit through my chest and shoulders, so they hang down too far if I leaved them untucked.

Sometimes when it's really cold, the layering works better with a shirt tail tucked in. That's about the only time any more I tuck them in.

I'm semi-retired. I buy lots of shirts that are made to wear untucked. Really don't wear many button-down-round tailed shirts casually because they don't really look good out to me.

If I were planning to have a funeral, I think I would request a Hawaiian shirt only one. Have them bury me in one and everyone there has to wear one. Only the funeral home director and his guys with walkie talkies can wear suits. I only have one Hawaiian shirt and never wear it except for events with that type of attire required. I just think it might loosen people up.

It's all situational- t what you're wearing and where. Sometimes I tuck, sometimes I don't. Can't leave the tail out when I'm bush hogging or riding a horse. But no way I'd fish with my PFG tucked in. But I prefer a polo untucked with shorts no matter the venue. Wouldn't have a shirt untucked wearing slacks tho

The only look that I think is turrible is a button down with jeans, shirt untucked on anyone over 40. That just trying too damn hard for me.

You don't have casual Friday at work? I can wear jeans and a golf Polo. I still have to tuck in though. Or if I'm going to a semi casual cocktail party, I'll wear a button down with jeans. Going to tuck that in. I rarely wear jeans (mostly wear chinos anyway) if the occasion calls for tucking in your shirt, but there are a few that exist.

Not saying it isn't better looking in some situations to be untouched, but it's underdressed in a few situations.

Always, looks trashy as frick, nothing more worrisom than untucked and no belt with long pants. I don't see how people camp leave the house like that.

37 years old and I've been fortunate my whole life to never have attended a school or had a job where I've had to ever tuck in my shirt!
