Does anyone think April the giraffe is a scam?

I know this is crazy but hundreds thousands of people have spent almost a month watching a giraffe walk around a little pin. Everyday experts say she close to giving birth. Do you think there is any chance this is a big hoax? It would be one of the great long term trolls ever if it is.

this is for the antiquetiger..this is will. look there are pictures of some lsu pennants somewhere on here I saw. I just bought one at a sale. it is number 5 in the pictures...can you or anyone else tell me when it is from and maybe a value for it...id appreciate it.
