And order one small item and have it show up in a box 10x the size and filled with bubble wrap? My gf orders cat litter and it shows up in a packing box big enough to fit a small recliner in. Maybe if they didn't waste so much on packaging, they wouldn't have to raise the price. Just a thought

1. Your gf must be really freaking lazy that she can't go to the store and get cat liter.

2. The price for Amazon Prime is pretty reasonable, especially if you order frequently.

I love having Prime. It's just such a let down when I come home to a giant box sitting at my door, only to be filled with bubbles and cat shite absorbant

It's not about being lazy. It's so much cheaper and easier to order everyday items in bulk from prime. Especially if you have a business. Paper towels, toilet paper, etc

I never have issues with the Amazon boxes

Its the Zulily boxes that require a weekly trip to the FIL's dumpster because they wont fit in my trashcan

We buy common household items off Amazon in bulk and usually save some.

No. An OT economics genius has already told us that we should actually select regular ground shipping for Prime orders instead of the free 2 day that we pay for, as it allows Amazon to better use its shipping resources.

A bit of an exaggeration, don't you think?

Let them know you are upset by leaving some packaging feedback. You rate the packaging and give them an opportunity to improve.

Zappos

My wife is insane too. She will order ten pairs of shoes, simultaneously, and retain one of them.

When we got married, I came home one day a month beforehand, and a stack of at least twenty packages from Zappos were there.

When she comes home from work and a big shipment is in, she will model all of it while telling me about her day, begging for approval on what to retain. It's absurd, but I play along.

I like it because it stops the wife from running to the store for bull that she needs for the weekend. Just click n order without the $25 min purchase.
