the bmw start stop is crazy, it resets your radar detector everytime you take back off, and i'm no mechanical engineer but that just doesn't seem like it could be good for a motor.

You can disable the feature.
The guy says it saves two tanks a year.
Who cares?

quote:Yeah because BMW and Volvo make terrible cars. Have you ever even driven either let alone owned? Leave it to a corvette guy to blindly bash foreign cars he knows nothing about.
If it's like BMW and Volvo, it sucks.

How can you be so dumb? Do you think I would comment w/o knowing about the car(s)?
I love the cars, just not that feature.
Just got finished test driving (riding) XC60, X3 and SRX.
The BMW's start/stop was smoother than the Volvo's, but still obtrusive. I don't think it's a good feature and I wouldn't use it.

Well, that's a PITA, then.

I got an Audi SQ5 a month ago and absolutely love it. The interior is very functional and the Start/Stop button is right next to the shifter. For a small SUV it gets up to speed in a hurry and the ride quality is great. I was going to get a Macan but they're on a 1 year waiting list right now.

They have a bit better front crash rating than the X3, but not quite as good as the XC60 and the SRX.
They weren't one we considered, but they seem to be pretty nice.

what's the cheapest you've seen the new rovers out there for? Will it be possible in a year to get one for under 100?

Not true. Newest programming gives you the option for it to be default off

Saw a new Vette on the road last week. I'll admit that I have never been a Corvette guy but that was one damned sexy rear end on that car. Very nice.

Excellent.
I thought the salesguy said that, but I was in the back seat.

that's good, the last thing i remember being more annoying was the automatic seat belts on a honda my aunt had decades ago, it would mess up your hair and take your hat off everytime.

I really dislike them and would not consider owning one.
If I had to have one, I would lease one, and I hate leases. That's how bad I dislike Rovers.

Keep in mind that they just facelifted the X3s this year too. Not sure if they're even on the lots yet.

That's the feature everyone complains about, but I never thought it was that big of a deal.

She drove a 2014, but the guy said the 15s are due in any day.
Real nice guy, too. He sent a TY card.

I think they look way better than the a8 I wanted one but it is out of my price range so I think I'm going with an Infiniti Q50 instead

I saw two red oned flying on the interstate and thought they were ferraris from 300 yds behind. I guess you could say that's a good thing to be mistaken for.
