Had some family live in Gulf Hills, a little neighborhood off the beach (by a steak restaurant, I believe), and nearer St. Martin. All seemed nice, quiet places.

Vancleave school was a kind of tucked away gem a few years back.

Ocean Springs may have the most restaurants per capita of any town I've ever been. It's ridiculous.

and probably one of the lowest crime rates too.

St. Martin is part of Jackson County Schools, as is Vancleave. The county schools are ok, and pretty solid.

If you must pick a school out of the Jackson County Schools, St. Martin is by far the best. It seems like they're 5 years ahead of both of the other JC schools. Even in athletics, SM is 6A while I think the other two are 4A.

And this. The closer you get to Ocean Springs, the nicer the neighborhoods. Like the 2 neighborhoods I recommended, Gulf Hills and Windsor Park - they are the two southern most neighborhoods in the area and closest to OS.

And Downtown OS is the tits.

Ya very safe. You could probably put a billboard on Highway 90 with your home address telling everybody it's unlocked and nothing happens

From my experience of the Mississippi coast, I'm surprised at how few blacks live east of Gulfport.

It seems there are more Vietnamese than blacks in OS, d'iberville, and pascagoula.

Overall, nicest area of MS if you ask me.

Pascagoula is where you want to be. P-Goula has the most to offer by far.
