Does anyone know a pathological liar?

I have been knowing a guy since high school and figured out during college that he was full of shite. In short, he claims to have ties to organized crime and would have elaborate stories about his involvement. In college he joined the military and claimed he was in special forces 2 years in. Also had some elaborate stories for those too. The military thing is pretty funny because he is still in school and he says he has already been deployed and seen action. While still being enrolled and actively participating in school. I dont know much about military deployments but I'm pretty sure you don't go kill some terrorists for a couple of weeks then come back for spring semester. I could be wrong, though.

not sure what is considered pathological..but, i worked with a guy about 12 yrs ago who , at age 37 had about 75 years of experience if you added up all of the job experience he said he had.

A guy in college told everybody his dad owned 12 oil companies, his dad lived in Paris, just unbelievable.. The truth is that he and his brother were abandoned by their father and their mother was a drugged out crackhead. I feel sorry for people like this because you know they're lying to make up for their self-perceived inferiority..

Yes, one of my best friend's girlfriend. If you tell her something, she's done it better. Always has a story to make her look elite. Some stories you take with a grain of salt, others you just sit there and think the entire time, "you are so full of shite." Caught her a bunch of times in a lie, and instead of saying, "You're right, I'm full of it." She'll make up another lie about it. One of the most aggravating things I've ever experienced. I just look at my friend and shake my head. Not sure if he knows it, and not saying anything, or he's just that retarded.

he'd tell us about his quadriplegic friend that they'd take hunting. theyd set him up in a ground blind and he could pull the trigger with his tongue. even if that were possible, he would then tell us how his friend would call them to come pick him up. whenever we'd ask how his friend would call (this was supposed to take place in the 70s), he would just walk away. eventually he modified it to say that they ran a rotary phone out to the blind and he could dial with his tongue
he even told people he played for the 49ers smh. someone posted the alltime roster in the conference room and put ?????s where his name wouldve been

Dated one for about a year. The crazy in that bitch was boss level. She had her whole circle of friends believing she had terminal brain cancer.
I've posted stories about it on here. The shite she pulled was unbelievable. But when people say things that no sane person would lie about, you usually believe them. That's what they are counting on.

Yeah his stories were unbelievable. I remember one about his military training where they dropped him in the middle of the ocean and he had to plant mines on ships and encountered a shark. Then I read American Sniper and it was literally the story out of that book.

When I was maybe in 8th grade to 10th grade I had some friends and acquaintances who would lie about pretty inane shite to make themselves look cool. I think it was just them trying to fit in and make friends. I haven't kept up with a lot of them, but from what I can tell they all generally grew up and stopped acting like that. I figure your friend is the same way and for whatever reason that stage of his development has been retarded.

At that moment, we could see his eyes going around the room, trying to figure out a last name, he then says Walls. We both busted out laughing.
I told him, i met a chick also, her name was sarah bedspread. It was so bogus when we caught him looking for a name and he said Walls. lol
He still fricking lies, but now to his wife. We both washed our hands of him
