Everyone saying yes they love their job need to ask themselves one question.
If you were not getting paid, would you still do what you do?
If the answer is no then you don't "love" what you do, you simply tolerate it as a means to get money.

Then again, I'm really not getting paid right now anyway.

I do, i teach Chemistry and Physics in High School. When students come back and tell me thanks for teaching me, it is a great feeling.

Everyone posting how much they love their jobs need to post their occupation.
I like my job. It has its ups and downs. The construction and real estate field are constantly changing.

You gotta have a little relativism here.

I love my job. Then again, I own the company.

I love mine enough to turn down jobs that pay a little more with better hours.

Well. I would not work for free, but I could take a substantial pay cut and still be happy. If I didn't get accepted into pharmacy school, my plan was to continue being a pharmacy technician.

My current job has terrible pay and is soul sucking, but I'm about to start a "real" job that pays about 3x more.

I can't say I love my job, but I do enjoy it. I have enjoyed it for 32 years and when this job stops being fun I will leave it behind. My job is not what I got my degree in.

I'm wondering if there's anyone who wanted to be something, went to college and got the required education, and are now working in that field and loving it.

I don't mind going to work at all. I worked at a state prison and dreaded going so I know what it's like. I really like my coworkers and my hours are OK. I just hate the pay and the fact that we get paid K-Time instead of money for overtime. It can mess with your head when you work a 110 hours or more and your paycheck never changes.

For every hour over 8 hours, you get "paid" 1.5x's annual leave instead of actual money. So like right now, I have almost 200 hours K-Time or vacation, that isn't counted against my actual annual or sick leave that I have.

I'm not going to say I love my job, but it beats the shite out of anything else I've done.
I buy wholesale cars for retail lots.

Does your employer allow you to actually take your k time? Like actually have a lot of time off?
