We have the nest thermostat and like the wireless functionality. The cameras look awesome but $350 for two Outdoors is pricey. Any advocates?

I almost got the indoor one but then I discovered it doesn't record video unless you purchase an extra Nest subscription of some kind. Decided against it.

We went with the Arlo camera. Camera itself is great and easy to set up, but the motion detection could be better. $169 for camera and base/router.

ETA: this is on our trailer home. Can see up both alleys with them.

Get the night owl system. The 4 or 8 camera with the IR sensor is great. You don't get as many false alerts as it only records when it senses motion and heat. the cameras are 1080HD and it has a real good app. The eight camera set with 1TB dvr is at Costco for $399.
