Does anyone else sometimes actually miss school?

I graduated with my masters over 9 years ago, but sometimes I miss the actual learning and test taking part of school. I dominated school and nearly always set the curve. My niece is in college now and comes to me for help. It just reminds me how very easy college is, at least LSU. It has made me start to miss dominating everyone on the tests. Yes, I was that guy and I enjoyed the hell out of it.

Not at all. Tests/term papers/projects were stressful and not much fun at all.

I still work hard and have plenty of stress, but at least I'm getting a check for my trouble now. I also don't have all the pressure of making it to graduation--when you're in school, you either get the degree or it's all for nothing.

I miss the lack of responsibility and easy women.

I don't miss being broke and going to classes/taking tests.

Ahmad- back in the day

I miss some things about college but hs was better. Only worries were actually going to school and scrounging up enough bread for beer and weed.

I never found them to be all that stressful. I have always enjoyed taking tests because to me it was a competition to beat everyone else.

I generally had money because I had a pretty good job relevant to my major through most of college. I worked about 25 hours a week during school and 40+ hours during breaks and never went out, so my cash built up. I definitely had responsibility. I have never enjoyed being idle or lacking responsibility.

I kept a full-time job through most of it. Nearly flunked a couple of classes, barely slept, drank a lot just to make the stress go away temporarily, and took five years to graduate. I still have nightmares about forgetting about classes and accidentally missing final exams.

Nope, I don't miss it.

I'm not especially intelligent, so I hate tests and papers.

I do, however, revel in its depravity.

Absolutely.

You might enjoy lectures on YouTube. Plenty to learn about. Or take a night class or two.
