my dog is such a puss that it's honestly funny to try and scare him, he's terrified of water because my a-hole friend threw him in a pool when he was a puppy when I wasn't around. She has two huskies so she thought he would like water, that was a big no go.

If I jump out from somewhere he gets the hell out of dodge, it's hilarious

Usually sneak up behind her and scare her. She scurries away but still thinks we're playing and doubles back on me.

Why even have a dog if you can't scare it from time to time for fun?

Why even come in the thread if all you're going to be is negative?

No. My dog is my best friend, and she was a rescue who was abused by her previous owner. I try to keep the house calm.

My lab is so neurotic I don't really have to try. She'll be at the water bowl, I will walk around the corner and she will do a four legged dog splits... it was funny the first 20 times. Now I am like.. jesus dog I live here too.

I leave my dog alone, but I can't not try to scare the cat.

I do it to my German shepherd every now and then when he's sleeping. Slowly walk up and grab him on the back. One of these days he's gonna take off my hand

My dog is old enough to where nothing spooks him. He reminds me of the character from the Hercules movie, just waiting to die in a glorious fashion.

My wife's dog is three. Has 140-160lbs depending on the time of year and he's terrified of me.

I routinely chase him through the house for no particular reason.

But the best thing you can do to him is set an ice cube on him while he's asleep. When it melts and touches his skin, he nearly pisses himself.
