I have some cool deathwish mugs i use at home. Other than that its usually a tumbler for work

I use an oversized ceramic mug.

Tried a Yeti and found it hard to drink from because the coffee never cooled down. Talk about your cases of a product working too well.

Now, if I am going to be traveling or have any delay or perhaps that last cup of the day, I might go insulated to keep it from getting too cold, too quickly.

I do. I hate insulated mugs for coffee. I prefer them for cold dranks.

Usually Tervis tumblers when at home... we have a cabinet full of them. If I use a regular mug it is because the others are dirty.

Absolutely, the tumblers are not that great. Stuff stays to hot too long. I have my Smokey Mountain leaf mug, it is hand made pottery.

Every morning at home. Every morning at work, every afternoon at work, and if I'm really crazy, again at home.

Metal/aluminum tumblers impart a different taste to hot beverages, and keep them too hot to be enjoyable. They are fine for cold drinks, or for coffee IF we're driving a long way, only.
