i sweat at night
can't stand being conscious for an entire day feeling grimy
i also shower if i feel especially grimy after a long day.

I never feel grimy when I shower at night. I literally shower right before bed. I don't do anything in my sleep that makes me dirty. 
I should also mention that I shower before I go out for the evening. I don't say "oh, I showered last night. I'll just shower when I get home." or something like that.

Both. Night to clean the body before sexy time. Morning to stretch, warm up and shave before heading out.
