Do you see color the same in both eyes?

The two pictures are a bit of an exaggeration, but I do see differently in both eyes. Left eye things are kind of dull, bluish, right eye things are lively, redish.
I wonder how this affects how people perceive moments in life. I read about a lady who can see colors that the average person can't, its called Tetrachromacy.

There's a racist joke somewhere in here. Just can't find it

For me, one eye sees everything at a warmer tone than the other.

Left is realistic. Right, the road is purple blue and the landscape is polarized.

You should check out that radiolab episode about color. Deals with tetrachomats. Did you Mantis Shrimp have like 14 cones? They see on a level of vividness we can't even imagine.

I don't see skin color, just the color of one's heart.

I believe the picture on the right is what dogs see.

My eyes see color differently. My left eye sees colors slightly warmer than the right eye. I usually don't notice unless I'm looking a a light colored wall in dim lighting.

I do listen to radiolab, wow first time I've heard anyone on TD mention it. I'll have to check it out

It's a good show. I've heard almost everything in the archives, some multiple times. One of my favorites deals with out of body experiences after servicemen were put through centrifuge flight training. Pretty cool stuff.

How old are you? Cataracts can cause colors to appear muted.

I had a retinal vein occlusion in my right eye. In that eye, car brake lights would appear hot pink at night instead of red and outdoor light during the daytime had a yellowish tint instead of being clear. All back to normal now, thankfully.
