I usually just wear disguises. Like the old fake nose and glasses. Sometimes a full mask.

eyebloc

Inventor got booted off stage on Shark Tank, because a piece of tape will do the same thing.

However, it is functional and more aesthetically pleasing than a piece of tape.

Why not just disable the camera in "devices"?

I thought I was alone. I'm either using a computer without a Webcam or have it covered with the blue painter's tape. Lol.

I don't care about the government but when I am working from home I am not wearing business casual sitting on my couch and I don't want to mistakenly get the camera on me in that situation.

I cover my entire laptop with tin foil so the NSA can't hack my wifi antenna and somehow stream video of me to HQ without showing a visible spike in upload bandwidth on my network. Gotta be safe, since I never, ever pay attention to e-mails I open, software I install, links I click, startup programs, or running processes. And for the added peace of mind, I always masturbate with an anti-static bag.

No, why bother? The NSA has special technology that allows your webcam to see through whatever you have blocking the camera. The live feed goes to a supercomputer at Trilateral Commission headquarters.
