My family owns a little bit of property near Prairie Laurent on the road to Leonville.

I've seen some of the shenanigans that go on at the barn there. It's pretty bad.

yeah I think they have the most events at the lodge by there. I feel sorry for anyone that has to live within a mile or two of the events or on the trail ride routes.

Im all about people having a good time and enjoying horses. I just hate when people shite on everybody else's peace and quiet. go have that shite out on the levee or something where you can be as loud as you want.

St Landry parish is where's its at. If your a brother and have a horse, your pace is in or near Opelousas, La. Funny how Whitey has to get parish permits and sign wavers to form trail rides which are usually for a cause. I know of several in Evangeline parish that donate all procedes to locals fighting cancer. I wonder if Keith Frank and the Lawtell Trair Riders are donating their earning?! Gawd bless the people who live there...

alot of them are well taken care of. its the 1/3rd or so of the crew that are tied up to a tree in a 20'x20' lot for 10 months out of the year with no food and no hoof care that have to suffer.

its not going to change though because the police dept's make money off it by providing security. Heck, I see the sheriff dept coming back behind them and cleaning up at the facility's and down the street with the inmate crews. Think they would do that for me if I rented one of those buildings?

They used to have them all the time in St. Tammany Parish. Haven't seen one in years. I guess all of the "come heres" don't like the country life after all.
