No, but I know a large number of native americans that do.

How many of this "large number" just recently came to this realization and two months ago didn't even this anything of it?

I can see where the word REDSKINS would be an offensive racial slur. What's so hard to believe about that?

If a race of people truly are proud of their heritage why would it be offensive?

It would be offensive if a race of people are embarrassed and don't want it pointed out.

Yeah, and black people were better off before the civil rights movement. Remind me, which Duck Dynasty family member are you again?

It's offensive. As well as Indians and Cheifs. Braves and Seminoles is fine though.

Cleveland Native Americans

Think about if it was the Washington Blackskins. I'm pretty sure we'd all see that as offensive.

I think it's only cuz both skin colors are minorities. If it were the Whiteskins I doubt any whites would be offended. In fact whites would probably be proud. But maybe if we lived in a world where whites were oppressed whites would be offended. And you can't even say what if it was in Africa or India, because whites are really still the upper class. So yes, I think it's offensive.

I don't find it offensive, nor do most others. But it doesn't matter what we think. What matters is what Native Americans think, and apparently it upsets many of them. I'm a lifelong 'Skins fans since the days of the Smurfs and Hogs and Riggins and Theismann in the early-80s, but at this point I don't think a name change is that big of a deal. All they gotta do is change the name to the Warriors. It has the name number of letters as Redskins, and as far as marketing and merchandising goes, they already use to "W" quite a but so it really wouldn't make that much of a difference. I've also seen "Renegades" as a possible replacement.
