When someone says they don't like art and/or museums at all that's a huge red flag

Don't like/can't appreciate are two different things imo....

I've met people who absolutely hate museums and they can't tell me why.... Then I've met people who appreciate the history and all but they don't wanna go to a museum to experience it

I appreciate the arts. My personal favorite is architecture. I love to wonder at the detail in old structures. True craftsmen built those things. We build stuff on the cheap, and in a hurry these days. It's a shame.

I've been to the big three. Tate Modern, Louvre and the Met. It's nice seeing Jackson Pollock's and Picasso's. The British Museum is pretty cool if you like impressionist art and ancient artifacts from around the world.

Every other I've been to is Meh. I heard Amsterdam has a pretty cool Modern art museum that I would not mind checking out one day.

Nothing like Jackson Pollocking all over a girl you met on Tinders face.

Arkansas now has one of the most impressive art museums in the country.

It really is, though.

You have to be in the right frame of mind and not rushed to truly appreciate it.

I absolutely love going to look at art and cool museums..... I appreciate the shite out of it, but don't know much about it and not artistic at all... I live learning new things so museums kick arse in that department.

I'm going to be the old frick that sits in front of the college class asking questions russlin all you young'ns jimmies

Appreciating beauty has nothing to do with being old. Enjoy life and love every second we have above ground.

I've been to all the big name museums plus hundreds of others and The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art outside Copenhagen is probably the best museum I have been to. Not just for the art, which is incredible, but the setting on a wooded area with a cliff that overlooks the Baltic is spectacular. And the museum structure itself is kind of ramshackle but has long glass corridors that allow you to see outside as you move from one gallery to the next.

I love museums and art (even if it's weird); I've been to Noma a handful of times. Seeing the thread Chicken made earlier made me realize that I need to go checkout the WWII museum soon.

History and science museums are great. Art museums have the naked ladies though...
