Do you consider TD social media?

Does anonymity take it off of the list? Not many people are sharing personal shite... but then again they are. Maybe not photos, but often personal stories and thoughts that cross our mind, our favorite movies, financial advice, etc. And not everyone is anonymous here.
I see TDers bash facebook all the time, yet are on here pretty often. Is that really any better?

It's relative. There are well over 100,000 profiles and as many as 5,000 posters online at once. Just because Paige lets it all hang out along with a few others, I wouldn't call it "many"

I don't watch the news and haven't in years. The funny thing about TD for me is it actually keeps me up on news stuff.

I call bullshite on that. I'm much more open about myself on here than I am on Facebook. Am partially anonymous here to where I don't care as much. I'd get eaten alive for some of my Facebook views.

I would say so. I see plenty of threads that are comparable to Facebook posts. People still share things despite (or even because of) the anonymity.
