Do entities requiring vax proof realize it's worthless?

I was vaccinated and got COVID from another vaccinated person. If a vaccinated person can spread COVID, that means that a vaccine only gives limited protection to the person receiving the shot and has zero protection for anyone else.

My wife and I had mild cases by comparison, nevertheless, vaccines do nothing to stop the spread.

It's of no use to prevent the spread, only quarantine appears to do that.

But by your own post, it's very clearly not "worthless." You're now splitting hair just to bitch.

In no way do I think the vaccines should be mandated by anyone, but attitudes like yours aren't helping anything. But yay for every single aspect of life getting politicized.

You're telling me if people who get sick have milder symptoms and shorter duration of illness, and therefore infectiousness, that doesn't help slow spread?

That seems like a strange conclusion.

No, but that's only because most people are stupid to begin with. Covid has just taken that to new levels.

then it worked.

the whole point of the vaccine was to limit reaction to the virus not stop it entirely. somewhere along the line everyone forgot this and are now losing their mind that the vaccinated are still getting the virus.

Who’s to say they wouldn’t have had mild cases without the vaccine? I’m unvaccinated, have caught Covid twice, and it wasn’t shite either time. I’ve had worse hangovers.

There's really no arguing the effectiveness of the vaccines in preventing serious infection/hospitalizations/death from COVID. I mean, that won't stop yall, but there's no legit argument for you to make against it.

Again, that doesn't mean its use should be mandated

That was the whole point of the masks, stupid.

What I posted must have been worded poorly, yes, I believe 100% in the value of the vaccine, we also got the infusion. hence, mild cases. I will get the booster when available.

My point is that as far as preventing the spread of covid, the vaccine doesn't not appear to do that, since we caught it from someone that had been vaccinated. The vaccine helped us recover, but it doesn't prevent us from spreading it.

Supposedly they say infectious period for vaccinated is 2 days vs 10 days for unvaccinated.
