We are leaving Thursday also. I've been 3 or 4 times during Thanksging in the past and have never had any issues. Yes, it's crowded but Disney is pretty much crowded all the time now a days.

The ESPN sports bar at the Boardwalk is a great place to watch any sporting event. The best part about it to is all the men their are ready for a beer after a long day at the parks with the family. Certainly a family atmosphere as well.

+1

It's not all bad at Thanksgiving.

Good lord.

I was there in June and didn't get the reservations for Be Our Guest. Maybe next time. Matter of fact, the whole trip needs a do over. Someone got noro or rotavirus and everyone ended up sick. It was bad.

Epcot is best for thanksgiving day because it holds crowds so well.

Drinking around the world will take you a little longer.

I really enjoy Epcot beginning the day after Thanksgiving with all the different Santas from the different countries.

i went at christmas too once. We did early entry on christmas day and I have to say that was my best disney experience ever. We did all of the rides we wanted at disney, space mountain 2x even, and were out of disney before the crowds started.

Now christmas eve was miserable.

that was what I hope to be my last trip to disney in my entire life - 1999. I hate disney, and dind't want to go then but my grandmother strong armed me into it.

Gotcha. Too bad they couldn't have been persuaded to take everyone to Belize or some place like that.

You get real judgemental in Disney threads for some reason, more than most. You really dislike the thought of a Disney vacation.

I just am not the type that would enjoy a trip like that. And to go to the same place every year....just not something I woujd enjoy that is all.

Last time we went we got there on Jan 2nd or 3rd. It was awesome! Longest wait was 20 minutes. Did not get crowded until the Thursday when ppl started arriving for the Half/Full Marathon weekend.

Also don't forget that at 6:15 and 8 pm (7:15 on party nights) they have the new Frozen castle lighting ceremony. Word is the hub area and castle front is crazy starting about 5:30.
