Because we've gone so much we knew all the little quiet places to sit with them to let them rest when they fell asleep. To hell with carrying a 6yr old back to the hotel.

I'm going first week of june...Before Florida schools get out ...Attendance tends to be pretty moderate

I knew that the overall crowds would be down the week that I'm there. I was just curious if it is better to avoid MK on the days they have extra hours or if it won't be that crowded regardless of which day it is. I'll probably skip it on the magic hours days. I figure we'll all be worn out by the time it closes on regular days anyway.

I have a day by day breakdown.. what days are you going?

Getting there Nov 14 and leaving Nov 21. I looked at the WDW site for the hours and it only goes through October right now.

Dale, you think these hatin' fools know you're one of the biggest LSU legends to ever come through Baton Rouge?
That may cause even more hate.

If thats during food and wine, avoid Epcot on the Weekends for sure.. Other than that ...At that time of year it really doesn't matter b/c crowd attendance is at its lowest

Food and Wine ends on the 16th, which is a Monday. May hit it up that Monday just to experience it.

We took my daughter for her 5th birthday. She was old enough to walk if she wanted to, but we rented one of their strollers mainly as a place to stash stuff and let her ride if we were crossing the entire park to go somewhere else. And in the afternoon when she got tired of walking, it was great. She loved every minute of it. We stayed at one of the value disney resorts. I forget the name of it, but it was something with Animation in the name. It has been a couple of years.
We didn't bother with parkhopper, but the Magic Kingdom had the extended late night hours on her birthday. We ended up watching the fireworks and the big show they do on the castle, then ate a late dinner before heading back to the hotel. I talked her into riding Thunder mountain (she was too short for space mountain) and the fireworks show was starting right as we topped the first hill. She held on for dear life and screamed about 90% of the time, but she still talks about how much fun it was. I would think a 4 year old would get plenty out of the parks.

I just got back with my twins on a trip for their 6th birthday and it was spring break, so pretty busy. I'll echo what others have said about hitting the park for a few hours in the morning, then hotel/nap for a few hours, then back in the evening. You can ride just about anything after 10:00 without many lines.
On our last day, we did 9-2 at Animal Kingdom, then 5-Midnight at MK. I was pretty impressed with the endurance for 6 year olds. It was a quick last-minute trip, but in 3 days, we still rode everything we wanted to ride and saw everything we wanted to see.
