Any of you sleuths know why there aren't fish in the theme park ponds and such?
Google doesn't turn up much. My thoughts are that they keep it slightly chlorinated to recycle the water through the park and control odors.

I've fished Disney before. Just interesting that there are no fish inside the parks themselves.

There are fish in Epcot in the lagoons.

I don't know if it has changed in the last year or two, but I've seen fish in Epcot. Not the world showcase lagoon, but the ponds between world showcase and future world.

I think they are in the world showcase lagoon as well. It's an option for the charter trip.
You can see them in the other areas. I think all the lagoon have fish, except the lagoons in/part of rides.

Last time I was there they had goldfish in the waterway next to tomorrow land in the Magic kingdom
