temp of water, amount of coffee, grind, how long the pour, water covers more of the grinds rather just pushed through one area, etc

seems like you can do most of this with a drip coffee maker

the rest sounds like shite I wouldn't care about anyway

maybe with high ends, I don't know

you can control temp and length of time the coffee goes through the grinds with the standard drip machine?

We have the top of the line and it's ok to make 5 different sizes (2 oz increments) but I have yet to notice the temperature settings make any difference. It only gives you like an 8 degree range to select. But it lights up bright blue like a silk stalkings TV set

Whichever one you get, buy the $20 reusable k cup so you can add your own coffee. Cheaper and tastes better

that takes most of the convenience out of it...though I've tried them and they do taste pretty good

people buying keurig are usually willing to pay a little extra for convenience as well as variety

either way

I just enjoy the process of grinding beans, boiling water, slowly pouring, etc

anyway, back to the Keurig

The reusable cup only adds another 30 seconds to the process.

We still buy different K-cups, but our go to is the reusable loaded with CC's New Orleans blend.

Screw the reusable k cups. I think the Starbucks Verona and other dark roasts taste perfect

we bought a box of these:

80 cups for 26.00 at amazon

they are a little different than the standard K-cup, but they make decent coffee...nothing awesome

And amazingly you still don't get it

Helpful hint. Neither Amazon nor Ebay manufactured the products you bought.

i had the most basic one for like 3 years and the pump stopped working. it suited my purposes well while it worked

This is the one I have and its still running strong...probably 4 years now. I really am waiting for it to bite the dust bc I hate having to pour a cup of water in it every time.

I agree the different cup sizes on the newer models arent really needed. The only thing Im looking for on my next one is a large reservoir.

mine has 4 or 5 different sizes, plus the water tank is a plus. the low end heats and brews each time you put a k cup in and doesn't have an on/off button.

I just turn mine on and it heats up once then you can brew as many cups as you want, provided you have water in the tank.

after owning both the low end and the high end, the high end obviously blows the other out of the water, but it is a bit pricier.
