I've had to file claims with progressive, geico and state farm.
The worst to deal with was State Farm. Only one who then threatened to drop coverage.

Well I've done it with geico and State Farm and State Farm was the easiest. I guess it's all in who you get as a claims person.

All these companies jack their rates when they think they can. In my case, Geico was almost certainly "underpriced" (from their point of view) compared to other companies operating in Orlando. So … they raise their prices 6%. figuring they'll still be competitive in my area. And in fact, when I shopped for another carrier this year, not one even CAME CLOSE to matching my Geico rate.
