Because the Super Bowl audio was so frigging terrible? I couldn't understand a damn thing she was singing. I sang along to some Coldplay only because I knew the tunes and I figured the people around me wanted to know what Gwyneth's s.o. might have to say. I am very PSA-minded like that.
Researching some black lyrics right now. Gotta find out for myself what all the fuss is about.

I missed it because I watched the Puppy Bowl. I honestly didn't know people really watched halftime shows of the Super Bowl.

I remember thinking "why is Beyonce not on stage?" Why was she in the end zone dancing on turf in heels.
Later had to be explained that it was an edgy Black Panther homage with the dancers. The NFL knows what they are doing. J. Jacksons titty popped out once. They are on top of shite now. Camera angles and such for the dance gave the audience no real idea what was being "said".
If you need it explained to you that you are "outraged" or should be.....? then there is no outrage.

I didn't watch the halftime show. I was at that little party called the Mardi Gras on St Charles.\
Checked on the game 5-6 times. Never knew about any controversy until Monday morning.
