In high school, we were supposed to write a letter to our favorite author and they'd grade it for some retarded reason. We were supposed to turn in the envelope and the letter separately (for some retarded reason).
I turned in my letter inside the envelope. She asked where my letter was. For some reason I got really pissed and just went,"Why don't you look in the fricking envelope?"
Cool story, FT!

Can't say that I ever even considered it.

I went above one of my professor's head to his superior to ask if I could take my final exam early so I could go see my brother graduate from college. According to my professor, "brother graduating" is not a student handbook approved excuse for moving the final exam, so he refused. His superior cowed and said it was my professor's call, but he would talk to him. He didn't, but I asked my professor if he had. My professor cussed me out in front of a bunch of people as they were leaving class.
Then the fricker tried to dock my grade, so I called him out on it in an email to him, his superior, and the dean of students. Had I been in Baton Rouge and not back home, I would have gladly cussed him out in front of his fricking superior and the dean of students for trying to tank my GPA for a personal vendetta over something so seemingly trivial as the asking of a question.
I got my grade changed to what I actually earned. The little fricker.
I know, CSB, but that shite still pisses me off.

The only time was when a professor was going off about student not coming to class. I sternly let him know that I pay for this class and I can come to it or not come to it if I so choose. It should never affect your grade.

very douchebag of you

It shouldnt lower your grade if attendance/participation isnt part of the grading criteria.
Although, those students are usually the first ones asking for extra credit or help towards the end of the semester.

Never a professor. But I sure as hell have come close to cussing out some advisors and deans before. The way they process things is as bad as government employees.

Told one to go frick himself in his office. Harvard educated, though not sure what specific degree, dude from China. He was a dick. Luckily the associate dean liked me and swapped another physics class since this a-hole was the only teacher for this one. There's a backstory, but yea...

This is exactly how I feel about attendance quizzes and other bullshite. I pay for this. If I want to go, I will go. If I feel I can do well without going, then let me do my thing. They get paid whether I show up or not.

The asians are usually the shittiest professors, but they are the most easily manipulated and never gave a frick about attendance.

You presume I was being the douche without knowing the context of the conversation. I would guess many that had Stahl for Econ get why I decided to be stern.

Again, attendance should not be part of your grade. If you want to offer a bonus then fine.

Not cuss out, but exchanged unkind words. He taught Poli-Sci and we didn't have the same views on a lot of things happening in the country. When I gave my opinion, he told me it was irrelevant because I was a "drunk, uneducated frat boy." We had words in the middle of class and someone reported all of it to the head of the department and he was suspended for a week.
