Welcome to 5A. Golmond is 5'6" 158 per 24/7. You expect him to carry a team in the largest classification? Maybe in 1A, but 5A is more about the LOS.

They're teachers first, coaches second. A teacher can be fired as a coach but still stay and teacher.
This move was being rumored back in Spring. Not surprised. Glad Beard stayed at LO, great coach!

I'm hearing different. My cousin has interviewed for the HC position and there have been several boosters call him in the past week. Has to be on his terms with his people though. Not going to work with people that get to keep their job just because of who they know.
Denham would be very lucky to land him and he is deserving of the position. There is not a better guy on the face of the earth and the kids that he has coached in the past not only loved him but have all bought into his program 110%. He's a damn good coach and a great leader anyone would be proud to have.
