Anyone ever tried Dorco blades?
Can you use a combination of Clubman Osage Rub and Pinaud?

I have tried their DE blade. It was terrible.
Worse than the Dollar Shave Club cartridges which are poor.

Go here:
Wicked Edge
I've been using a DE razor for a couple of years and I really like it. Go on Amazon and buy a sample pack of blades so you can try different ones. My favorites are the good old fashioned Gillette blades, the Astra blades, and Feather.
Here's a decent offering: LINK
As for razors, I started with a cheap one, don't even know what it was. About a year ago my father-in-law gave me a Gillette Super Speed that was made the year I was born (1967) brand new in box. That's what I use now.
I have my eye on a Jagger or a Parker....

Tryablade.com
If it is still around, you could buy individual blades to try them out.
Italian barber is a good one.
But eBay will lead you to them all. As well as Amazon.

I use shavenation.com.
The guy who runs it has a bunch of YouTube videos on how to use safety and straight razors. He also signs all his receipts.
I purchased a new brush and Muhle open comb razor from him yesterday.

Damn it. I was thinking of his videos on YouTube when I mentioned Italian barber. His site is good too.
