Got a few friends going. They invited is but we're going on vacation so we had to decline. I wish we were though. Spade is a fool.

That's because it was a best of from most of his career. He would decline to do a special because then he would have to retire his set and write new material.

Spade never did it for me. He seems smug to me, and I live in California. Joe Dirt wasn't funny, either.

I don't mind his smugness. There are a lot of great comedians that were/are smug as hell. Spader just isn't a funny stand up, imo. He's makes a good secondary character, delivering smart arse one liners in movies. That's about it.

i caught him as an opening act for dave chappelle in nola for the satuday show, he was horrible. his routine, jokes and delivery were horrible. i was sad as hannibel burress opened the friday and sunday and killed it.
