probably good, because there was really no damage done and you wouldn't get anything.

Correct. You can sue for anything but with no real damage it shouldnt pass muster in court.

Confusing. Also, I started college when I was 16. It sucked. Couldn't go out with friends for a year and a half.

Yep, 5 rights. They drive this home more than anything in nursing school.

The plot thickens. Why did she stay with her grandma instead of her parents when growing up?

Because her mom was on active duty for a while after Katrina and her dad was transferred out of state for a while for work. It was just more stable for her after the storm. She still stayed with one of us whenever not in school after 2 or so years when we both got settled back at home. Her Grandma is alone and a teacher so she just stayed out there for school.

ETA: She did stay with her parents before Katrina.

That's terrible that they gave her the wrong vaccine, but that's also a good vaccine to have anyway.

nah

she's smart, ahead in her classes etc, older

autism hits when they get shot up like crazy before their system can even handle it. she may have dodged a bullet if she got accelerated shots as youngster

she's likely free from that danger

Man oh man. Get your head outta the sand. I dated a "good Catholic School girl" in h.s. and we did the dirty on and off for two years. Her parents thought she was a virgin on the day she got married.

Incidentally, don't let the mixup (or this thread) distract you both -- make sure she gets the MC shot. Bacterial meningitis is very serious shite, and colleges are statistically good places to get exposed.

-ETA: didn't read page 2, but honestly I wouldn't think a 16 year old is ready for that much responsibility but good for her. she'll graduate before she can even see the inside of a bar

I'm not naive, but I do know my daughter. The "good catholic girl" thing was really said tongue in cheek. She is a good girl, but not because of some school she went to.

Will do I had a friend who had a serious case of meningitis and he was lucky to only spend a week in the hospital.
