I think this is the union pushing them to do this.

Wash your hands. Stay inside. Use Skype to interact with clients, just don't let them see your HazMat suit.

We'll Fedex you some Purell.

Could be. They really didn't like them being sent in without ppe.

who went into Thomas Eric Duncan’s apartment last week

Is this amateur hour in crisis management? A fricking cop goes there and touches stuff? Maybe he was spray by Crackhead Ezell as he power washed the sidewalk in what may be the worst contamination cleanup in the history of mankind.

Ummm, everyone who initially entered the apartment went in without PPE.

Hopefully, not. (Re the two additional cops)

My first thought when I read the thread was, "hey, that's where that good lawyer lives" followed by, "I wonder if it's in Ray Nagin's house".

While I agree that this probably nothing, I think I will wait for actually medical results instead of the word of the guy's kid who was nervous after the huge reaction today. As I said earlier, there was sheer panic at the nearby schools and his dad was being drug through the mud for walking into the Care Now. Although Frisco is a pretty large burb, it's pretty close knit with most on the west side knowing each other or of each other. The Colony is even smaller. When the panic hit, the kid then began making statements like there was 0% chance his dad had Ebola and that people should back off slamming him for going to Care Now.

I know if I went in the Ebola house and one of my peers got sick my mind would give me psychosomatic Ebola. The mind can be very powerful.

Actually I'm a guy, I wrote the article last week. I'm a 27 year old male nurse, married for 3 years, 6' 190 lbs, blonde and blue, in case you were wondering.

So far the standard impression is that I am female, and that's understandable, despite the guys name right there on the web page. Regardless, I've been lurking all the forums that posted my article, easy enough to google, but WordPress keeps me updated with every single click I get, an you guys blew it up so I figured I'd check it. I'm impressed how the tone changes every time I join a forum and allow the users to express their concerns directly with the original author.

So, has anyone figured out why we are continuing to let people from Africa fly into the United States and only check their health AFTER they get here?
