He probably wasn't happy in the marriage either. He just was more unhappy about her getting half of his money initially.

Guys, if any of you slap dicks ever happen upon some money, immediately withdraw many large sums of it. Go to casino (vegas) and get as many chips as you can. They have 25k chips, get them and go to a bank there and get a safety deposit box.

If the gold digger leaves, you just say you have a strippers, coke, and gambling problem..and you blew it all.

And also take a mortgage on your home and "blow" that cash the same way....in court, she finds she owns half of that debt.

Money hidden, gold digger humiliated.

If you feel the need to do something so ridiculous, perhaps you shouldn't have married the person you're with in this scenario.

happened to someone I know. Sold his company for 90 million at 45, she divorced him about 2 weeks after finalization of sale. She got 40, he got 50. He is cool with it now, he has a 25yo new wife with a prenup and 50 million at 48

You're right, settling was a bad choice of words. I guess my mindset was from what my dad taught me, equal or greater value monetarily. Maybe these guys mindsets come from their fathers as well.

Oh yeah? That's your dream? To sit around in your pajamas all day and babysit?

I spent the first 12 weeks of my daughters life working from home, and I can tell you first hand that it involves more than "sitting in your PJs and babysitting."

You are so laughably ignorant on so many things, that your hubris is just comical.

That is actually a great idea.

Don't worry, I'm sure you don't have that kind of money...

If they're married to you, that's understandable.

This X 100.

Recently divorced here and doing well. It didn't kill me, financially or emotionally, and actually doing much better on both fronts now.

It is amazing the amount of energy that goes into trying to take care of a person that only wants to take care of their own needs and wants. Having been lifted of that burden - life is good.

A prenup and some elaborate ruse that may not even work are very different things, wouldn't you agree?

Again, no problem if you and your future wife decide on a prenup. The elaborate ruse that we're actually discussing is not the same as that.

I would get a divorce as soon as I felt the need to "cover my own arse"

and with all of these "redpill" stories, we always only get the male version, which almost always is centered around the male doing everything right, it was just that greedy bitch trying to ruin the guy's life
