Dads of the OT: How did your daughters change you?

If you don't have a daughter it doesn't apply to you.
I married her mom. I stopped drinking every weekend and went to only drinking on football Saturdays in the fall. Started eating healthier. I started making yearly goals of accomplishments. I started using more of my spare time to do things that would further my career instead of being lazy.
She is the only woman that has ever changed me, but it was because I wanted to change. It pisses my wife off to hell and back, but at least I did change for the better.

Why is your wife pissed? Is she average?

well besides the obvious things....learned how to braid hair...learned to do tea parties, learned how to paint nails and toes....

She's almost a year old. Before her I never changed a diaper before in my life. That's now scratched off the list.

She has turned me into this guy at her gym meets...
I can't help it.
And then there is all the lovie, emotional stuff she does to my heart. But the OT isn't really the place for that.

I dont have a girl, I have a boy, so when I tell "those" jokes my buddy, who has a girl, laughs and shakes his hed at the same time.

Stopped cursing as much. Stopped drinking as much because she pointed out I was acting funny. Became more patient. Started coloring with her. Watching Disney movies. Mother fricking watched Trolls 3 times this past weekend.

I mean, how? It would be a dick move to expect the wife to do it every time.
