I got a new TV recently, and I've had this problem for football games and basically all sporting events besides golf and tennis. No problem for sitcoms, movies, or shows filmed in a studio like Sports Center.
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, were you able to find a way to regulate the sound so you can actually hear the commentators?
I looked at the Sound options using the Samsung remote, rather than the Cox remote, and changing it to Clear Voice from Standard didn't do a thing.

I've noticed it on my Sharp Aquos--messed with all the settings, didn't matter. Put it through my surround system and could tweak it a bit to hear the commentators, but then anything besides the game sounded crappy.
Not sure which, but it was only a certain network last week.
I checked the options, and the TruDialog and TruSurround options are both off already.
This TV has been infuriating. Already had to return the first Samsung 40 inch LED because its image quality was absolute shite. Unbelievable that my 7 year old Sony has significantly better sound than this.
I have found this same problem on a few games this year. Last week's Saints/Skins telecast was like this. I felt like I was in the stadium listening to the crowd noise as opposed to those calling the game.
