Crispy Catch opened in the Mall of La today

People say it's a rip off of Canes and it opened right next door to Canes. Classic. Food is okay. I got the tacos which weren't bad. But portions are small for the price.

How are they a ripoff if they serve fish and shrimp and no chicken? It's not like Cane's invented french fries, coleslaw or comeback sauce.

They must have a lot of Tony's money to blow. I don't know how the Perkins location is still open, considering I've seen multiple people eating there when I drive by maybe once since it opened. It's decent food but overpriced IMHO.

Crispy catch gets grief for being too much like canes, but short of a full service restaurant, there fish is about as best around. I like it better than many restaurants pricing much higher.

Did it open up where that Greek place use to be? It was next to Canes so I assume it closed? That place was good.

Replace chicken with catfish and it is a canes ripoff.

Not sure if their menu changed, but the food is bland, overpriced and mediocre and the whole restaurant is a direct rip off of Canes.
