Probably ten years ago we were down in florida on a sunday to buy a car, had the saleman meet us there off duty for a quick once over before monday.
My buddy who was buying the car was about 19 beers in from the beach that day, I was sober so I could check the car out. I do and tell hin all is good, when the salesman suggested a test drive. My buddy is like naaa, and the sales man tosses the keys to him and hops in... so this guy, who literally coukd only stand, not walk, has to drive a used civic through a mercedes dealership without hitting anything.
Hr drove around the parking lot for like ten minutes, occassionally slamming on the brakes and using blinkers for no good reason. When he pulled back up, the salesman was white as a sheet.
All the while, we are damned near throwing up we are laughing so hard.
Then fast forward to when I worked at a dealer....functioning alcoholics were some of my best customers.
