Crawfish Delivery in NYC

So I work in a small office(7 people) in NYC and each Friday, a different employee picks lunch to be delivered for a meeting. I was thinking it would be nice to bring a little Louisiana flavor here. Does New York have places where you can pick up a few pounds of boiled crawfish or get it delivered? Anybody know of anything here?

This seems so unlikely. Why not get some other louisiana food? Gumbo. Sauce piquant. Jamb.

Yeh I guess I missed it by a month of so. Still, I'm interested in knowing if something like that is common in huge non-southern cities.

Harris seafood in Ponchatoula delivers all over the U.S. They're a little salty to me, but I'd give them a 4.3 out of 5.

A quick google search revealed several highly rated Cajun restaurants in NYC. I would advise against crawfish this time of year. For people completely unfamiliar with Louisiana food I would try something basic like jambalaya or gumbo.

I had gumbo at legends once and it was pretty shitty. My only Cajun food experience in NYC.

I had crawfish from the spillway on father's day. They were hard as frick, which is par for late in the season. And while I am only assuming, if there is any in NYC, they are probably the shite from China, which you don't want to ever serve to someone, especially if you want to introduce them to crawfish for the first time.

If even you get the best crawfish imaginable, they won't fully appreciate them.
Learn how to make a chicken sauce piquant or a jambalaya or a seafood gumbo yourself.
Seven people are easy to feed.

Brooklyn Crab in Red Hook has some pretty damned good boiled seafood. They dust the crab on the outside if you order them 'cajun' style. Even though I don't agree with the outer dusting, the crab were good.

That's a fantastic business idea. Boil good crawfish and deliver, specialize in larger events like parties and such (I'm sure there's plenty) or even offices so you can deliver a lot at one time, and charge out the arse for it to cover the costs not only of the product but delivery as well. People are made out of money there so I'm sure they'd pay.

Hot N Juicy will make it to New York soon I bet. I was pretty surprised when I stumbled onto this place in Hollywood. I've been to the one in Vegas too. Not bad but I'm pretty sure the guy is adding msg to them. He's using the same recipes at all his locations.
