Something similar happened South of Shreveport last year. It was a meteorite or something entering the atmosphere and breaking the sound barrier or something like that. They picked the trajectory/flight path up on the weather radar of all things.
It boomed a 4 parish area.

Could be something as simple as a meteorite, or something as awesome as the X-37B finally landing again. (I think it was still in orbit.)

I was in south jersey at the time and felt nothing. My wife was at her desk at home and said the computer monitor shook and she felt the house shake a little bit didn't hear anything
