Authorities say remains found Oct. 18 in a rural area are that of University of Virginia student Hannah Graham.

Graham disappeared Sept. 13 after a night out with friends.

The remains were found about 12 miles from campus.

The man Graham was last seen with, 32-year-old Jesse Leroy Matthew Jr., has been charged with abduction with intent to defile Graham.

The remains were discovered roughly 6 miles from where the body of 20-year-old Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington was found after she vanished in 2009. Police have said forensic evidence connects Matthew to Harrington's killing, which in turn is linked by DNA to a 2005 sexual assault in northern Virginia. Matthew has been charged in the 2005 case. Just horrible. I think that there is a bill pending in our legislature to resume the use of "Old Sparky". I hope it passes.

It's so frustrating that they haven't been able to convict this guy with murder yet.

Very very sad. But I can't help but wonder how fricking difficult is it to hide a body/remains?

Honestly, if you're smart I don't think it would be very hard, but I've never tried so I don't know

These people usually aren't super intelligent.

I can think of 100 places within 15 miles of where I live where I could dump a body and no one would find it. Doesn't make me a creep.

man I hope I never find a body or anything like this. That has to stick with you for the rest of your life. This POS now will claim he was spanked at any early age etc...

Couple brought their baby into the hospital the other day they had found passed away in his crib.

People were very broken up about it obviously. Boss had to go in and talk to the parents with the lil one still in the room afterwards

Too many kids today are taught to be "tolerant" and non-judgmental, that everyone is "good".

It's not PC to be suspicious of people who may seem sketchy.

So we get things like this happening.
