I just bought a house in Lafayette and it seems like every time I turn around I see a spider. I just cleaned out the garage and hosed down everything in site and sprayed your basic store bought spider killer to get rid of everything, but it seems like they just trickle back in.

Any suggestions for a company in the area?

TIA

Where in Lafayette? Towards Youngsville or Broussard where you live next to a field?

go to a pest control retail store. tell them your problem, ask them what you need. Take pic of product, go home order on amazon. you're welcome.

All rural areas are going to be bad with spiders right now. Try and apply the perimeter defense insecticides. Apply to house perimeter and yard perimeter. That's what I have my pest control lady do during the summer.

The reviews look pretty good. I think I may run with that. Thanks.

We usually get lots of Yellow Sac Spiders at our house. It's been especially bad this year. With the heavy rains and accompanying moisture, there are abundant assorted insects for the spiders to feed on.

As mentioned, do a perimeter treatment and possibly get a does or two up in the attic. It's helped us but again, there isn't much that can be done to completely eliminate them.

Solution is easy. Go to any grocery type store and buy a bottle of lighter fluid. Douse your house in the stuff and then drop a match on it. No more spiders.

Had the same problem and a guy in Honduras sold me a horned lizard. Put him in the garage and haven't seen an insect since.
