Mine is always fun. But we just go out to dinner and drink for 2 hours or so. I also love my job.

It depends on the company.
When I worked for a smaller company, we would all just go get a private room at a local restaurant and run up a decent sized tad. It was great.
When I worked for a larger company, they had it at some large meeting hall and a bunch of people I had never met were all there. It sucked.

The last Christmas party I went to was for my old company 5 years ago
The guest speaker was Joey Greco from the show cheaters
I shite you not. Got drunk with him at the bar afterwards. Told me all the good shite from the show.
