If that happens...goodbye internet as well. I will get everything over the air on broadcast stations and watch my expansive dvd collection.

ps sorry to bump this thread but i just noticed the ridiculous number of different dates listed on my bill above.

that's enough to confuse anyone..notice how my 'billing cycle' differs from the 'monthly usage' dates which are calculated from the PREVIOUS MONTH and added to the next month's bill?

we have:
- internet service 4/29 - 5/28 at $66.95
- service discount (gee thanks) from 4/11 - 5/11 (wtf?)
- modem lease (even though i own my own) at 4/29 - 5/28
- 'extra data usage' 3/09 - 3/31

confused yet? i am. i pay for a SINGLE product from comcast...internet. should be one fee on the bill but somehow they've turned it into 4 or 5 line items.

For people who like podcasts they should check out this weeks Pointless podcast with Kevin Pereria. His guest is Abby Martin and they speak on this issue a few times.

OMFG..really? comcast really is the devil

LoL, yeah it wasn't really bad, it's just sorta sad they would actually spend money to put in a little shot like that...

My usage is 25, 26, and 29 GB in the last three months and I am literally on the internet every minute I am home and there might even be a significant amount of pron usage in there. So, I have no problem if they want to stick it to CAD and his family streaming netflix 24/7.

Exactly. The ONLY possible way to be hitting near their limit is

a. constant streaming because you cut cable and got someones cable login IDs for ESPN and the like i.e. stealing from the cable company directly

b. torrenting huge movie files which is also stealing.

I refuse to feel bad for criminal activity being discouraged.
